Head, Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Planckton Data within the EMEA markets. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), entrusted with significant responsibilities that align with our strategic goals, especially in expanding the footprint across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for leading our market strategy, market development, sales and delivery of all the projects across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for developing and executing regional strategies, building strong relationships with key customers, partners and other stakeholders, and leading a high-performing team to achieve ambitious business objectives. Data Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 7-12 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing data, creating and maintaining architectures and databases, and processing raw data into meaningful information using various data analytics methods. Your expertise in Microsoft Azure tools and services or equivalent AWS tech stack is crucial for this position. Being part of a climate tech startup with a strong AI focus, you will have ample opportunities to learn how AI and robust data management solve climate challenges. This core development role requires strong technical skills, and you will collaborate closely with data scientists and other engineers to ensure that the data architecture supports business requirements. Key responsibilities include designing and building modern data pipelines and data streams, developing and maintaining databases and processing systems, and transforming complex raw data into actionable business insights. Computer Science/IT Engineering Intern
We are offering a paid internship opportunity for a talented Computer Science/IT Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in software development, data management, and emerging technologies. As an intern, you will assist in developing and maintaining software applications using Python, work with databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL, and gain exposure to the Azure tech stack.
